What your business says about you!

Hi everyone, well this is our first blog, and I wanted to be about something that is helpful to other vintage shops or just life in general, so this is
"What your business says about you"
First a little history of my business, we open in July of last year after about 3 years of planning, shopping and stressing out, but now we have a beautiful store that was worth every minute of those 3 years. After years of vintage shopping at all different types of vintage shops I realized that there were 2 different types, the super junky, shit thrown every where type or the super snobby I'm better then you, too busy to care about helping you type. So after a negative experience at a vintage store in Orange County Ca, I thought one day I want to have my own store and from that moment I started to come up with the plan. I thought of all the good and bad things I loved about the vintage stores I've been to, and how I can make the bad good and the good great. So my husband and I started researching going to pretty much every vintage store in a 100 mile radius, taking notes and observing, basically we stalked stores j/k. Then we devised our business plan saved our money and 3 years later opened Atomic Closet Vintage Boutique. So now to the nitty gritty ask yourself am I Junky? Snobby? or a Perfect Balance? I can't answer it for you but be honest. So what if you don't know what you are well here are some things that I think are key factors. Take pride in your store or your life do you have miss match hangers? are your clothes not in any kind of order? Your store represents you so clean it up invest into your investment. Did that come off snobby? Didn't mean for it too I just want all us vintage sellers to stay in business for as long as possible. So for my snobby ones well I'm not sure what to tell you personality traits are the hardest to change, just be nice to everyone say HI, that's all it takes. I think we all have opportunity to be better at what we do and we all do this because we love it so make sure that shows. I opened my store after a bad experience I want someone that meets me to own a store or doing something they are proud of because of a good experience. That's it for now .
